Concerned prison authorities have been instructed to provide all necessary assistance to complete the transfer of shares process as Shamima is now in Kashimpur prison and Rassel is in Keraniganj prison, Shamim Ahmed Mehedi said, the couple’s lawyer, to the Daily Star.
The company’s bench of Judge Muhammad Khurshid Alam Sarkar passed the order after hearing a request filed by Rafiqul, Farida and Mamunur, saying they wanted to take responsibility for the company’s revival.
In the application, they requested the HC to allow Shamima and Rassel to transfer some of their shares in the company to them for this purpose.
In the order, the HC said that Rafiqul, Farida and Mamunur could not transfer any shares to another person after receiving those of Shamima and Rassel.
The court also said Evaly’s board will determine the role of Rafiqul, Farida and Mamunur in the running of the business.
Shamima and Rassel own 60% and 40% of Evaly shares respectively, said Tapas Kanti Baul, a solicitor at the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Companies.
On September 22, the court issued an injunction order prohibiting Evaly, who is believed to be in debt of over Tk 1,000 crore, from selling and transferring her assets until further notice.
