Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal have been linked with Jarrod Bowen but it looks like the Englishman is solely focused on West Ham United for now.
As you can see from his Instagram post below, Bowen, who has been linked with a move to Arsenal in the summer transfer window, is eager to start the new season with West Ham.
CBS Sports reporter Ben Jacobs told GiveMeSport this week that “Arsenal have definitely done a survey around Bowen to see what the situation is.”
Jacobs added that West Ham are unwilling to sell Bowen, who can operate as a winger, striker or midfielder and has been described as ‘a deadly finisher’ by the former Manchester United and Bayern Munich midfielder Owen Hargreaves on Premier League Productions in May 2022.
Could Arsenal sign Jarrod Bowen from West Ham United?
In our opinion, Arsenal could struggle to sign Jarrod Bowen from Premier League rivals West Ham United in the summer transfer window.
The 25-year-old looks happy at the Hammers, and he doesn’t seem likely to force a move.
Now, of course, every player comes at a price, but we don’t think West Ham will sell Bowen for less than £50m.
Would Arsenal pay £50m for the 25-year-old?
Bowen scored 12 goals and provided 10 assists in 34 Premier League starts for West Ham last season.
The West Ham star also scored three goals and provided one assist in the Europa League for the Hammers last season.
