NetBet France adds Apple Pay to approved payment methods

NetBet France customers can now use Apple Pay to make deposits and withdrawals.

By adding the service to its list of approved payment methods, the platform seeks to offer players greater flexibility.

Apple Pay, a mobile payment and digital wallet service created by multinational tech giant Apple Inc, ranks among the most popular payment methods in the world.

Features of the service include Apple’s Face ID and Touch ID biometric authentication, which NetBet says will “make it faster and easier than ever for players to deposit and start playing”.

In the end, speed and security seem to be the central elements of this partnership. NetBet highlighted the simplicity and security of Apple Pay, saying it saves “Apple users time while effectively protecting their data”.

This comes after France’s National Gaming Authority (ANJ) reported an 8% increase in GGR for 2021, driven largely by online gambling.

As more and more French players go digital and Apple holds a large share of the national smartphone market, NetBet seems keen to capitalize on the rise of online and particularly mobile gaming in France.

He said: “The success of Apple Pay is such that this new partnership will set NetBet France apart from its competitors and encourage a new generation of players to sign up.”

Echoing this sentiment, Ana Stef, Head of Payments at NetBet France, said: “Apple Pay is a state-of-the-art payment service that we are delighted to bring to our many customers here at NetBet France.

“Not only will our existing players benefit from this new option, it will attract a wider range of Apple users to our platform.”
